WELCOME
Dear Parents:
I would firstly like to welcome you to another exciting year at Windfields JHS!
This year I will be part of an excellent teaching team dedicated to inspiring and educating our students. I am delighted to have your child in my class this year and am looking forward to a very successful year. I have high expectations for my students and I will do all that I can to help these students achieve those expectations.
I will be expecting all work assigned in class to be completed. Math and BTT are subjects that scaffold learning. With this in mind, practise can have a huge impact on student success. If your child does not complete an assignment in class, he or she will be required to complete it at home. This way, student’s stay on top of course material allowing them to further enhance their learning experience.
In addition, I will be assigning projects/ assignments throughout the school year. Your help and support will not only make your child more successful in school this year but will also develop good study habits that will last a lifetime.
